The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a public health notice regarding ready-to-eat ham and cheese lunch packages under the Never Any! brand that include chocolate chip cookies that may contain peanuts, a known allergy not disclosed on the product label.

According to federal regulators, this advisory advises people who have peanut allergies not to consume this product. Since it is thought that the products are no longer for sale, a recall was not requested.

Between June 27, 2023, and July 5, 2023, ham and cheese lunch boxes with chocolate chip cookies were created.

The 2.9-ounce plastic tray package marked “NEVER ANY! UNCURED HAM & CHEESE LUNCH KIT” with a Use By date of “SEPT 18, 2023” is the product that is impacted.

These products were delivered to retail outlets across the country, claim FSIS officials, and they carried establishment number “645” inside the Canadian mark of inspection.

The sale of any or the goods in New Jersey has not been officially confirmed.

When the supplier of the manufacturing establishment’s chocolate chip cookies informed them that the cookies might contain peanut residue, the problem was brought to light.

The label omitted mention of this recognized allergy.

After receiving this information, the manufacturing facility swiftly notified FSIS that the cookies were utilized in goods sent to the US.

FSIS officials reported that as of right now, there haven’t been any verified instances of bad reactions brought on by consuming these items. However, those who are allergic to peanuts are advised to use caution and refrain from consuming these lunch kits that have the designated date and label.

It is advised for any consumer who may be worried about a potential injury or sickness linked to this product to seek medical care from a healthcare professional.

FSIS is still dedicated to preserving public health and making sure that customers are aware of any potential allergies in food products.

Customers who bought the aforementioned lunch kits are urged not to eat them and to dispose of them appropriately.

Additionally, individuals can contact the producing establishment or their place of purchase for further information or assistance.

As health and safety are paramount, we encourage all consumers to remain vigilant and informed about food safety alerts to protect themselves and their loved ones.
